Baarish 2, is the story in continuation of the first season, of what happens to the unlikely couple of Anuj and Gauravi. Where season 1 ended at a separation in their marriage, season 2 begins with them rediscovering their bond and finding love through every challenge that life throws at them, as they dream of a future together as a family. But life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans. So when Anuj sees Gauravi facing humiliation and insurmountable hardship, he changes as a human being in his quest to guarantee her happiness forever. He tries to work so hard that they never face hardship again, but in the process makes her lonely and miss his old self and their small but real joys of togetherness. Anuj loses the charm and innocence for which Gauravi fell in love with him in the first place, while gaining great success in his business and his skills, and Gauravi too takes a firm stand that she won’t settle for this, no matter what. Anuj and Gauravi begin to drift apart, until once again the rain and their love pulls them back together.
